교사 소개: 저는 한국에서 국어국문학, 언어병리학 석사과정을 마치고 10년간 다문화 가정 아동들을 포함 다양한 현장에서 언어치료사로서 경력을 쌓아왔습니다. 오랜 기간 동안 언어치료를 해오며 말을 하지 못하던 아이들이 어느 순간 눈을 마주치며 소통을 하려고 할 때 언어치료사로서 가장 큰 보람과 기쁨을 느꼈습니다. 이제 한국에서 쌓아왔던 언어치료 경력을 발판 삼아 한국어 교사로서 더 큰 도전을 이어가려고 합니다. 모국어가 아닌 제2외국어로서 한국어를 배우는 아이들에게 한글을 읽고 쓰거나 딱딱한 문법을 학습적으로 가르치는 것이 아닌, 다양한 활동이나 게임 등을 통하여 아이들이 한국어를 즐겁게 배우기를원합니다.또한 학습 목표에 도달하기 위하여 교재 진도를 따라가기 보다 언어치료사로서의 역량을 발휘하여 구조화된 수업 활동을 통해 기초부터 탄탄히 배워 자연스럽게 한국어를 습득할 수 있도록 하겠습니다. 언어 학습에 기본이 되는 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기 영역을 배우는 것도 중요하지만 한국어 의사소통 능력 향상에 중심을 두고 더욱 자연스럽고 쉽게 접근하는 것이 더 중요하다고 생각하기에, 틀을 정해놓지 않고 다양한 어휘를 학습하고 말할 수 있도록 총체적 인 접근 방식을 통해 수업을 이끌어가겠습니다. 또한 한국 문화 및 역사를 소개하는 시간을 가져 아이들에게 한국에 대한 올바른 인식을 심어주길 원합니다. 이를 통해 아이들이 한국에 대한 지대한 관심을 가지고 한국을 더욱 사랑하는 마음을 가졌으면 합니다.

Introduction: I studied in Korean Language & Literature at university and completed my Master’s degree in Speech Language &Pathology. I have spent 10 years working as a speech therapist in a variety of fields, including children from multicultural families. I have done speech therapy for a long time and have found the greatest joy as a speech therapist when children who have been unable to speak properly are trying to communicate with their eyes contact. Now I want to use my speech therapy career in Korea to continue my greater challenge as a Korean teacher in the Netherlands.

I want the students who want to learn Korean as a second language to have fun learning Korean through various activities and games, rather than reading and writing Hangul or teaching them hard grammar academically.

While it is important to learn the areas of speaking, listening, reading, and writing that are fundamental to language learning, I believe that it is more important to have a more natural and easy approach centered on improving Korean communication skills, so I will lead the class through a holistic approach so that the students can learn and speak a variety of vocabulary. Also, I want to introduce Korean culture and history during the class so that they have a correct appreciation of Korea. Through this, I hope that the students will have a great interest in Korea and love Korea even more.
